A Letter To Our Community
We are proud of the way our community, parents, students, and staff have come together to support each other in this time of crisis. We want to remind our students that our school code is that MVMS is a safe place where everyone is respectful, responsible and does what is right, even when no one is watching. These are the ways students can live up to our code while they are doing remote learning.
1. Respect - Be respectful of the people in your household and help each other to be safe and learn. Help out! Empty the dishwasher! Make your bed! Do your best on your work assignments!
2. Responsible - Check in with your teachers. Be responsible for your part when it comes to remote learning. Your learning is your responsibility, not your parent's or teacher's.
3. Do What Is Right - Wash your hands. Stay out of crowds. Practice social distancing. Read a book. Do what is asked of your without arguing.
Parents we want your to know that we understand that dealing with this worldwide crisis is enough stress. School work and students learning from home should not add to that. Please let yourself off the hook when it comes to home learning. At this point we will provide opportunities to review and practice and work the bugs out of this new reality of remote learning. Currently, there is no expectation for attendance or grading. Use the resources we are providing to supplement your family time or provide a structure and foundation to keep your child's mind active.
We want our students to know, that even in this time of crisis, we can all continue to learn and grow.
Please note:
Laptops: We have 70 out of 400 laptops still to go out on the pm bus run. Buses will stop at all the afternoon drop off sites and to deliver the laptops.
MVMS Technology Help Desk: An email has been set up exclusively for MVMS technology related help. It is: mvmshelp@rsu10.org
Keep safe and healthy!
