Dear Families,
We are pleased to inform you that through a partnership with Mainely Teeth, we are now able to offer dental services to your child. On several days throughout the school year beginning at the end of November, a Mainely Teeth hygienist will set up inside your child’s school(s) with portable dental equipment where they will provide routine dental screenings, preventive services and simple dental treatments to students who are eligible and have been signed up ahead of time.
If your child has not received routine dental care in over 6 months or your child is in need of dental care due to the lack of local access, this service is for you!
If you are interested in having your child receive care while at school, please contact your school nurse for the full permission packet.
If you have any questions regarding upcoming dental clinics at your child’s school, please email Ayla Burke at ayla@mainelyteeth.com

MVHS: Next Thursday (9/21) our entire Junior class will be headed to Sunday River for a career day! Students will spend time in multiple departments at Sunday River to learn about career opportunities that are available to them now as high school students and potentially as adults. All Juniors are expected to attend, even students scheduled to be at Region 9. We are really excited about the opportunity for our students. Please call school if you have any questions!
- Mr. Danylik & Mr. Milledge

MVHS: We are excited to announce that our back entrance now has a buzzer system where we can open the doors from the office. With that being said, ALL students (including Seniors) must park in the back parking lot starting tomorrow (Thursday) and enter the school through the gymnasium entrance. Thank you!

MVHS: Today during Homeroom our Sophomore and Junior students will be taking a survey regarding their interest in taking the PSAT on 10/16. Like last year, this is a voluntary exam. I would highly suggest that any student who is considering post-secondary school to take the exam as it primarily will help prepare students for the SAT and there are chances for merit scholarships if students score in the top 5% in the State of Maine. Please check with your student to see if they signed up and you can always call the office and we can double check for you starting on Thursday (9/7). Thank you!
-Mr. Danylik

Good Evening!
It was great to see so many of you today and we are looking forward to having everyone back tomorrow! Please remember tomorrow is Wednesday and we start one-hour later. Today our staff worked hard to get down the timing of new bus routes and the process of releasing students in a safe and timely manner. I thank everyone: parents, students and staff for your patience as we work out the bugs. Additionally, as you may have seen in the news Attendance Matters and we have worked hard to increase attendance last year and we want each of our schools to beat last years rate!! We can do it if we all work together. Thank you for being a part of our district, RSU 10!!

We hope everyone is ready for school this coming Tuesday. We have uploaded the bus routes to our school website for viewing. Please click on the bus routes name to view the specific bus run. These runs will not include students names. They will only include the stops in order, the times of the stops and the location of the stop. If you have any questions in regards to the bus routes, please contact the transportation office or your school and the staff will be able to assist you. Thank you for your patience and we hope to have a good school year this year.
